Fear- "I'm not scared" Fear. It's the unpleasant feeling of anxiety, apprehension, or distress caused by the anticipation or presence of danger- the danger of being found out, of losing something or someone, of being hurt. It's the idea or thought that something horrible is about to happen. It is worrying about things uncontrollable. It is also reverence or awe toward whomever one worships- God or idols. It is dread, concern, or terror. If misdirected or misused, it is damage- to oneself or to another.

"Since God assured us, "I'll never let you down, never walk off and leave you," we can boldly quote, 'God is there, ready to help; I'm fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me?'" "Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love." "For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline." [Hebrews 13:5b-6 (The Message); 1 John 4:18 (The Message); 2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT)] "The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature." [Anne Frank] "Death is not the biggest fear we have; our biggest fear is taking the risk to be alive -- the risk to be alive and express what we really are." [Don Miguel Ruiz] "Only when we are no longer afraid do we begin to live." [Dorothy Thompson] "Don't be afraid to go out on a limb. That's where the fruit is." [H. Jackson Browne] "Be not afraid of life. Believe that life is worth living, and your belief will help create the fact." [Henry James] "Fear not for the future, weep not for the past." [Percy Bysshe Shelley] "Do not be too timid and squeamish about your reactions. All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better." [Ralph Waldo Emerson] "I am not afraid of tomorrow, for I have seen yesterday and I love today." [William Allen White]
